Job Description
Share relevant welding documents with customers to provide quality assurance and technical compliance.
Oversee day-to-day Welding Operations and shop-floor welding activities across Heavy Fabrication projects.
Develop, review, and approve Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and Procedure Qualification Records (PQR).
Monitor manual, semi-automatic, and automatic welding processes to ensure high joint integrity and structural strength.
Coordinate with quality inspection teams to conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) and structural weld evaluations.
Direct shop-floor welders and technicians to maintain safety protocols and minimize weld defect rates.
Maintain complete technical archives of welding documentation, customer quality sign-offs, and inspection logs.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or Production Engineering.
0-1 Yrs of hands-on experience in welding engineering, heavy fabrication, and plant manufacturing operations.
Practical understanding of standard welding codes, AWS/ASME guidelines, and heavy fabrication practices.
Strong technical communication skills, document management discipline, and shop-floor execution focus.
