Job Description
Perform precision welding, joint fitting, and fabrication of metal structures according to technical drawings and work orders.
Operate ARC, MIG, TIG, or gas welding equipment ensuring appropriate heat settings, wire speeds, and gas shielding.
Inspect welded surfaces, joints, and seams to ensure high structural integrity and identify defects like porosity, cracks, or spatter.
Prepare metal components through cutting, grinding, bevelling, and clamping prior to welding operations.
Maintain welding tools, torches, regulators, and ensure shop floor safety protocols including PPE usage.

Qualifications
ITI / Vocational Course in Welder / Fitter trade or equivalent practical trade experience.
2 to 5 Years of hands-on welding experience in structural fabrication or sheet metal manufacturing.
Ability to read and interpret basic engineering blueprints and welding symbols.
Strong physical stamina, hand-eye coordination, and attention to workshop safety norms.
