Tool Room Assistant Manager

Lead and oversee the entire tool room division, managing mold maintenance schedules, tooling modifications, and new mold validation.

Plan and allocate daily resources, technicians, and machine utilization to meet manufacturing targets.

Implement structured preventive and predictive mold maintenance programs to extend tool life and optimize cycle times.

Perform detailed root cause analysis (RCA) and CAPA for repetitive tooling failures and product defects.

Manage new mold trials, tool development schedules, vendor coordination, and tooling spare parts budgeting.

Supervise tool room engineers and technicians, ensuring strict compliance with quality systems, safety protocols, and 5S standards.

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Tool & Die Making / Mechanical Engineering / CIPET.

6 to 10 Years of progressive experience in tool room management within plastic injection molding industries, with at least 2+ years in a supervisory role.

Strong leadership, tooling cost estimation, and team management capabilities.
