Software Engineer

Department: Perf: Web R&D

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, test, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Python
Build and manage RESTful APIs using Flask/Django frameworks
Work with MySQL databases for data storage, querying, and optimization
Use Pandas for data analysis, transformation, and preprocessing
Assist in building data pipelines and processing large datasets related to ad traffic and fraud detection
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing systems
Participate in code reviews and continuously improve development practices
Required Skills:

Strong understanding of Python fundamentals (data structures, OOP, error handling)
Hands-on experience or knowledge of Pandas for data manipulation
Familiarity with Flask and/or Django for building APIs and backend systems
Good working knowledge of MySQL (queries, joins, indexing basics)
Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and backend architecture
Familiarity with version control systems like Git
Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
Preferred (Good to Have):

Basic exposure to AWS services (such as EC2, Lambda, S3, or RDS)
Familiarity with PySpark or big data processing concepts
Understanding of distributed systems or high-scale data handling
Exposure to Linux/Unix environments.
