Shop Floor Supervisor

Supervise daily shop floor manufacturing operations, brass component machining, and casting/finishing processes.

Allocate daily work tasks to operators and technicians to ensure shift production targets are met on time.

Monitor machine uptime, line balancing, and material flow to minimize bottlenecks and idle floor time.

Enforce quality inspection standards on the floor to reduce scrap rates and ensure dimensional accuracy of brass parts.

Drive 5S housekeeping, workshop safety regulations, and personal protective equipment (PPE) compliance across the floor.

Maintain daily production logs, attendance records, machine breakdown logs, and shift handover reports.

Diploma / Degree in Mechanical / Production Engineering or ITI with strong practical experience.

2 to 5 Years of core experience as a Shop Floor / Production Supervisor in metal manufacturing, brass components, casting, or precision machining units.

Strong leadership, manpower handling, and problem-solving skills on the factory floor.
