Job Description
Manage, lead, and supervise day-to-day shift operations and manufacturing activities on the glass processing shop floor.
Monitor toughened glass processing parameters, tempering furnace operations, and machine line performance.
Ensure all finished products strictly comply with required quality standards and safety specifications.
Identify process bottlenecks, drive process improvement initiatives, and implement scrap-reduction measures.
Supervise machine operators, coordinate shift handovers, and ensure strict compliance with workplace safety rules.
Prepare daily shift production logs, quality inspection registers, and machine downtime reports.
Qualifications
Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or related technical disciplines.
3–5 Yrs of core experience in production shift supervision within a manufacturing setup (glass/toughened glass industry preferred).
Solid understanding of quality management standards, process improvement techniques, and plant safety.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and shift management abilities.
