Role Details:
The job incumbent shall be responsible for ensure smooth onboarding, activation, and servicing of merchants acquired by the bank for its digital payment solutions (POS, UPI QR, Soundbox, Payment Gateway, etc.). The Service Relationship Officer plays a key role in maintaining long-term relationships with merchants, driving usage, and minimizing attrition through excellent service support.
Overall Job Description
Act as the primary point of contact for post-onboarding merchant support and servicing and cross-sell
Coordinate with operations and technical teams for merchant device installation, activation, and troubleshooting.
Ensure timely delivery of POS/QR/Soundbox devices and merchant kits.
Educate merchants on usage, settlement process, and benefits of the banks payment products.
Monitor merchant activity to identify inactive users and implement reactivation strategies.
Handle service requests, grievances, and device-related complaints efficiently.
Ensure merchant KYC and compliance documentation is up to date.
Assist the acquisition team in improving merchant retention and satisfaction.
Essential requirement:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Problem-solving attitude with a customer-first mindset
Basic technical understanding of POS/QR/UPI solutions
Ability to work in field and handle service visits
Organized and efficient in handling multiple merchant relationships
Must be willing to take up an 11-month contract role.
