Senior Engineer – Product Costing

Perform zero-base costing (ZBC), piece-cost estimation, and manufacturing cost breakdown for fabricated sheet metal and automotive components.

Analyze raw material consumption, scrap recovery, cycle time calculation, machine hourly rates, and overhead allocations.

Prepare detailed cost estimation sheets for new product inquiries (RFQs/quotations) in coordination with Sales and NPD teams.

Coordinate with Purchase and Sourcing teams for raw material price tracking, vendor quote validation, and cost reduction through Value Engineering/Value Analysis (VAVE).

Track monthly manufacturing cost variances, operational expenses, and maintain standard costing databases.

B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering.

4 to 7 Years of experience in product costing, estimation, and budget tracking within fabrication or automotive manufacturing.

Strong proficiency in MS Excel (Cost Models) and engineering drawing interpretation.
