Quality Engineer

Formulate and carry out comprehensive inspection procedures covering incoming raw materials, in-process sheet metal fabrications, and final assembled units.

Verify dimensional precision, hole pitch, weld integrity, surface treatment, and paint thickness against engineering drawings and quality plans.

Utilize and calibrate standard precision inspection tools, including vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, and paint DFT meters.

Document inspection findings, issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) for defective components, and segregate rejected items systematically.

Spearhead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and formulate Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) with production supervisors to minimize shop-floor rework and scrap rates.

Maintain internal quality control logs, prepare customer Inspection Release Notes (IRN), and participate in ISO internal quality audits.

DME (Diploma in Mechanical Engineering) or B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.

0 to 2 Years of experience in mechanical quality control, sheet metal fabrication inspection, or quality assurance.

Ability to interpret mechanical blue prints, complex section views, weld symbols, and GD&T specifications.

Solid working knowledge of quality methodologies such as 7 QC Tools, 5S, CAPA, and Root Cause Analysis.

High attention to detail, precision-focused mindset, and disciplined documentation habits.
