Job Description
Supervise and control complete blown film extrusion production lines, raw material blending, and winding operations.
Monitor extrusion machine parameters including temperature profiles, die gaps, screw speeds, and film thickness (gauge).
Coordinate preventive and routine line maintenance to prevent unexpected machinery breakdowns.
Ensure extruded film products meet required tensile strength, clarity, and dimensional specifications.
Allocate tasks to machine operators, manage shift transitions, and enforce plant safety protocols.
Maintain daily extrusion logs, scrap reduction sheets, and material yield registers.
Qualifications
Diploma / Degree in Plastics Technology, Polymer Engineering, CIPET qualification, or Mechanical Engineering.
5–8 Yrs of hands-on experience in blown film extrusion manufacturing and line management.
Solid technical knowledge of plastic polymers (LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE), extrusion machinery, and line maintenance.
Strong problem-solving, team supervision, and shift management abilities.
