Job Description
Oversee and streamline day-to-day production line operations to ensure optimum manufacturing efficiency and output.
Interpret engineering drawings, technical blueprints, and process sheets to guide shop floor assembly and machining tasks.
Conduct dimensional inspections using precision measurement instruments including Vernier Calipers and Micrometers.
Monitor in-process quality control standards, minimize rejection rates, and troubleshoot line-level bottlenecks.
Supervise machine operators and technicians, enforce 5S housekeeping, and maintain workplace safety compliance.
Maintain structured production logs, shift performance records, and daily output documentation.
Compensation:
Salary: ₹2.25 – 3.25 Lacs PA.
Qualifications
Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline (DME/BE).
3–5 Yrs of proven experience as a line supervisor in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
Strong proficiency in engineering drawing reading and precision measuring tool handling.
Good record-keeping, team leadership, and shop floor communication skills.
