Production Engineer

Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily shop-floor production activities across heavy/light fabrication lines.

Ensure stringent quality adherence, shop-floor safety protocols, and on-time delivery of finished products.

Optimize fabrication production processes, reduce cycle times, minimize material wastage, and improve overall operational efficiency.

Coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams (Quality, Maintenance, Design, and Supply Chain) to achieve shift production targets.

Maintain and improve production standards, standard operating procedures (SOPs), line clearance records, and daily production documentation/MIS.

Supervise fitters, welders, machine operators, and contractual workers in a fast-paced manufacturing setup.

BE in Mechanical Engineering / DME (Diploma in Mechanical Engineering).

Minimum 2+ Years of core experience in the fabrication or engineering manufacturing industry.

Strong practical knowledge of fabrication processes (cutting, bending, fit-up, welding, assembly) and quality inspection standards.

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and production management tools/ERP.

Good problem-solving, leadership, and workforce coordination capabilities.
