Job Description
Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing, procurement operations, and supply planning for raw materials, packaging materials, and manufacturing supplies across beverage production facilities.
Develop and execute robust sourcing strategies to drive cost optimization, supply chain resilience, and continuous margin improvement.
Drive new vendor development, conduct supplier assessments, negotiate commercial terms/contracts, and establish long-term vendor partnerships.
Oversee the end-to-end purchase lifecycle, including Purchase Requisitions (PR), Purchase Orders (PO), delivery schedules, and inventory replenishment.
Collaborate closely with R&D, Quality Assurance, Production, and Logistics teams to ensure timely material fulfillment meeting food safety and quality standards (FSSAI).
Monitor supplier performance metrics (OTIF, quality compliance, pricing trends), conduct supplier risk management, and resolve supply chain bottlenecks.
Track market commodity movements, analyze procurement spend data, and prepare MIS reports and budgets for senior management review.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Food Technology, Operations, or related field (MBA in Operations / Supply Chain is a strong plus).
4 to 7 Years of hands-on experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, and vendor development, ideally within FMCG, Food & Beverage (F&B), or consumer goods manufacturing.
Proven track record in supplier negotiation, contract management, and raw/packaging material sourcing.
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP / Oracle) and advanced data reporting in MS Excel.
