Piping Material Engineer

Ensure timely review of piping technical documentation, material specifications, and vendor data sheets.

Select, specify, and standardize piping materials, Valves, and inline components in compliance with ASTM and international offshore standards.

Utilize SAP software systems to manage material requisitions, procurement specs, and bill of materials (BOM).

Participate in engineering design reviews across offshore oil, gas, and Renewable energy projects.

Support People development initiatives, mentoring junior engineers and refining departmental engineering standards.

Coordinate with procurement and vendor teams to resolve material technical queries and non-conformance reports.

Maintain comprehensive piping material selection diagrams, specification documents, and engineering review logs.

Bachelor / Master of Technology in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines.

1-3 Yrs of experience in piping engineering, material selection, and offshore/energy project execution.

Strong technical working knowledge of ASTM standards, valve specifications, Material Selection Diagrams (MSD), and SAP MM/PM.

Excellent technical review capability, communication habits, and cross-functional leadership skills.
