Packaging Engineer

Co-work with multi-country cross-functional teams to develop, validate, and localize sustainable packaging materials.

Collaborate closely with Procurement, Quality Assurance Managers, and EHS teams to drive vendor qualification and material sourcing.

Identify and implement packaging cost reduction (Value Engineering / Kaizen) initiatives without compromising product safety.

Optimize material usage, reduce packaging waste, and ensure compliance with global environmental and safety (EHS) policies.

Define packaging quality standards, perform incoming raw material evaluations, and resolve shop-floor packaging defects.

Maintain detailed packaging data sheets, technical specifications, and change management documentation.

Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Packaging Technology, Polymer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.

1-3 Yrs of industry experience in packaging engineering, material qualification, and cost reduction.

Proven track record in supplier collaboration, EHS compliance, and quality assurance processes.

Strong cross-cultural communication, analytical problem-solving, and project execution capabilities.
