Merchandiser

Manage end-to-end garment/apparel merchandising processes from buyer inquiry to order delivery.

Handle product development, tech-pack interpretation, trim/fabric sourcing, and sample development (proto, fit, size set, pre-production samples).

Prepare detailed product costing sheets, negotiate fabric/trims pricing with vendors, and optimize margins.

Coordinate sample approvals, lab dips, test reports, and fit comments directly with international/domestic buyers.

Track Time and Action (T&A) calendars, monitor production floor progress, and resolve potential bottlenecks to ensure on-time ex-factory dispatches.

Liaise with EXIM / export-import teams, shipping forwarders, and quality assurance teams for pre-shipment inspections and export documentation.

Degree / Diploma in Fashion Technology, Apparel Production, Textile Technology, or related discipline (NIFT / similar institutes preferred).

3 to 8 Years of hands-on merchandising experience in an apparel manufacturing or garment export house.

Strong proficiency in product costing, sampling coordination, and buyer communication.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
