Mechanical Design Engineer

Develop 3D models and manufacturing drawings for Special Purpose Machines (SPM) and industrial automation equipment.

Utilize SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, and Solid Edge CAD platforms to design mechanical components and mechanisms.

Perform mechanical design calculations, drive sizing, pneumatic/hydraulic selection, and tolerance analyses.

Collaborate with shop-floor assembly leads to resolve machining discrepancies and guide physical machine builds.

Optimize SPM component designs to lower manufacturing costs, shorten build lead times, and improve operational reliability.

Prepare detailed bill of materials (BOM), component procurement lists, and assembly documentation.

Maintain organized CAD project archives, version revisions, and engineering release notes.

Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering.

1-3 Yrs of core experience in mechanical design engineering, specifically targeting Special Purpose Machines (SPM).

Advanced multi-CAD proficiency across SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, and Solid Edge.

Deep knowledge of industrial automation, machine design principles, and component sourcing.
