Materials Executive

Oversee end-to-end materials management, inventory control, and supply chain operations for plant manufacturing units.

Manage direct/indirect procurement workflows, including purchase requisitions (PR), supplier inquiries, and purchase order (PO) generation.

Conduct comprehensive market research and price analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities, alternate materials, and competitive vendor sources.

Lead vendor negotiations on commercial terms, delivery lead times, contract agreements, and pricing structures.

Coordinate with plant operations, logistics, quality, and warehouse teams to ensure uninterrupted raw material availability and minimal production downtime.

Monitor safety stock levels, manage inventory turnover, track material consumption patterns, and generate periodic supply chain MIS reports.

Maintain vendor performance scorecards, resolve supply bottlenecks, and coordinate with accounts for timely invoice settlement.

Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline (B.Sc / B.Tech / B.E. / B.Com / BBA / MBA in Supply Chain or Operations preferred).

3 to 10 Years of core experience in materials management, procurement, or supply chain operations within a manufacturing or chemical process plant.

Proven track record in supplier negotiation, vendor assessment, and inventory management.

Working proficiency in ERP platforms (SAP MM / Oracle / Tally) and MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.

Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation, and cross-functional coordination skills.
