Job Description
Supervise day-to-day machine shop production activities and ensure seamless plant floor operations.
Plan and allocate manpower effectively according to active production requirements and shift schedules.
Monitor CNC, VMC, HMC, turning, milling, and other complex machining operations closely.
Ensure production targets are consistently achieved strictly as per schedule.
Monitor machine utilization, productivity levels, and operational downtime to maximize efficiency.
Ensure stringent quality standards and process parameters are followed at all times.
Coordinate seamlessly with Quality, Maintenance, PPC, and other cross-functional departments.
Identify and resolve production-related bottlenecks and technical issues promptly.
Ensure proper handling, care, and maintenance of tools, fixtures, and measuring instruments.
Maintain 5S, safety, and housekeeping standards across the machine shop environment.
Monitor rejection rates, rework volumes, and productivity metrics to implement immediate corrective actions.
Train, mentor, and guide machine operators and technical personnel.
Prepare and maintain comprehensive production and shift-related reports for management review.

Qualifications
Education: Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: 2 to 4 years of experience in machining or machine shop operations. Prior experience in the automotive or engineering manufacturing industry is preferred.
