Laser Operator

Set up, calibrate, and operate industrial CNC fiber laser cutting machines to process varied thicknesses of mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium sheet metal.

Load cutting programs, align sheet coordinates, set focal heights, adjust assist gas pressures (Oxygen/Nitrogen), and select appropriate cutting nozzles.

Inspect first-off cut pieces and continuous run samples using calipers, micrometers, and protractors to verify dimensional tolerances and cut-edge quality.

Identify and correct cutting imperfections such as burrs, dross formation, thermal distortion, or incomplete piercing by fine-tuning cutting parameters.

Carry out daily machine care, including cleaning optical lenses, replacing worn nozzles, lubricating guideways, and checking chiller water levels.

Maintain safe scrap segregation, record material consumption logs, and report raw sheet defects immediately to the fabrication supervisor.

ITI / Diploma / Technical training in mechanical trade or machine operations.

2 to 3 Years of hands-on, proven experience operating CNC fiber laser cutting machinery.

Preference: Male candidate.

Working knowledge of sheet metal properties, laser cutting parameters, nesting layouts, and mechanical blueprints.

Punctual, safety-oriented, and physically capable of safely handling metal sheets and operating material-loading overhead cranes.
