Job Description
Role Summary: Responsible for monitoring security alerts and supporting the SOC team in identifying potential threats.
Key Responsibilities:
Security Monitoring: Monitor SIEM, IDS/IPS, and EDR tools for security events and unauthorized access.
Incident Response: Lead the investigation, containment, and root cause analysis of security incidents.
Vulnerability Management: Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses.
Policy & Compliance: Develop security policies (ISO 27001, NIST) and ensure compliance.
Reporting: Prepare weekly/monthly cybersecurity dashboards and risk reports for stakeholders.
Required Skills:
Basic knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS) and security concepts (Phishing, Malware).
Familiarity with Windows/Linux operating systems.
Interest in certifications like CompTIA Security+ or CEH.
