Collections Manager

Manage end-to-end debt collection, delinquency management, and overdue recovery for Home Loans (HL), Loan Against Property (LAP), and Affordable Housing Finance portfolios.

Drive bucket management and minimize roll-rates across early to late-stage delinquency (SMA, NPA, and hard recovery cases).

Coordinate closely with legal teams to initiate and execute statutory legal notices, SARFAESI Act proceedings, physical property possessions, and auction/recovery actions.

Supervise and guide field collection executives and agency partners to ensure high recovery efficiency and timely resolution of default accounts.

Conduct field visits for critical default cases, negotiate settlements, and structure structured restructuring or payment arrangements within compliance limits.

Ensure strict adherence to RBI fair practice codes, collection guidelines, customer data privacy, and ethical recovery practices.

Maintain daily collection trackers, portfolio health reports, and generate MIS dashboards for regional management review.

Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in any discipline (B.Com / BBA / MBA / Finance preferred).

1 to 4 Years of core collections, delinquency management, or recovery experience in Housing Finance (HFC) or Retail Banking / NBFC mortgage segments.

Sound working knowledge of legal recovery processes including SARFAESI actions, Section 138 / Section 25, and arbitration.

Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, team handling, and interpersonal communication skills.
