Job Description
Run and monitor daily production on CNC turning centers and CNC milling / lathe machines according to standard engineering drawings and work instructions.
Perform tool setting, work-piece clamping, fixture alignments, and manage machine coordinate offsets (Fanuc controls).
Maintain part repeatability, tight dimensional tolerances, and ensure smooth cycle operations across shifts.
Conduct in-process quality checks using precision measuring instruments (vernier calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, height gauges).
Carry out routine tool wear inspections, insert indexing, and basic preventive maintenance of CNC turning equipment.
Maintain shift production logs, record output quantities, and adhere to 5S and shop floor safety practices.
Qualifications
ITI (Machinist / Turner / Fitter) / Diploma in Mechanical or Production Engineering.
2 to 6 Years of hands-on experience as a CNC Operator / Setter on CNC turning centers or CNC milling lines.
Proficiency with Fanuc control systems, G-codes/M-codes, and manual coordinate offset adjustments.
Ability to read technical blueprints, geometric dimensioning, and tolerance symbols.
