Job Description
Develop, write, and fine-tune G-code and M-code programs for CNC machines, turning centers, and VMC machinery.
Perform complete machine setup, tool setting, workpiece clamping, and zero-point offset calibrations.
Execute daily CNC milling and lathe operating tasks to manufacture precise mechanical components.
Operate CNC machinery configured with Fanuc control systems, ensuring adherence to tight engineering tolerances.
Conduct shop-floor quality checks on finished parts using micrometers, vernier calipers, and dial gauges.
Perform preventive machine maintenance, coolant level checks, and chip removal to minimize operational downtime.
Maintain clean daily production logs, tool wear records, and shift output registers.
Qualifications
ITI certification or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Tool & Die Making, or Machinist trade.
1–3 Yrs of experience in CNC programming, tool setting, and machine operation.
Practical expertise with Fanuc controllers, CNC milling, turning centers, VMC machines, and tool setting procedures.
Strong drawing reading ability, numerical accuracy, and shop-floor safety awareness.
