Job Description
Develop, compile, and implement plant-wide EHS policies, safe working practices, and safety culture programs.
Maintain rigorous Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards across automotive manufacturing operations.
Ensure complete compliance with statutory and legal safety mandates, including Fire License, Consent to Operate (CTO), Hazardous Waste Authorization, and Form 4 & Form 5 submissions.
Conduct Hazard Identification and Risk Assessments (HIRA), Job Safety Analyses (JSA), and periodic safety inspections.
Lead emergency preparedness drills, manage firefighting systems, and coordinate safety committee meetings.
Oversee hazardous waste management, safe disposal practices, environmental sustainability, and ESG / GHG accounting initiatives.
Drive internal and external compliance audits for ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 management systems.
Maintain safety registers, accident/incident investigations, MIS dashboards, and statutory documentation.

Qualifications
ME / M.Tech in Industrial Safety Engineering.
Additional Certifications: IOSH / NEBOSH certifications preferred.
7–10 Yrs of relevant industrial safety experience (Automotive or Tier-1 manufacturing exposure preferred).
Certified Internal Auditor for ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018 is highly advantageous.
Working knowledge of ISO 14064 (GHG Accounting) and ESG frameworks.
